  • Application Deadline: The Program in Neuroscience ordinarily accepts new students only for the fall semester. The deadline for applications is December 1st. Interviews typically begin in early February for fall admission. If it is not possible to send GRE scores for arrival by December 1st, please contact Erin at erin@u.arizona.edu.
  • Application Fee: $65, payable with application to Graduate College.
  • Application Materials:

  • GRE - Our school code is 4832; our department code is 0213.

  • TOEFL - Our school code is 4832; our department code is 30 (international students only).

  • Application Status: To check the status of your application please contact Erin Wolfe (erin@u.arizona.edu, 520-621-8380).
  • International Students:
As it is usually impossible to interview international students, the Program in Neuroscience strongly encourages the prospective student to arrange a personal interview with an American scientist working in his or her country. The scientist should send an evaluation of the student's potential as a graduate student to the Program address given above. If it is impossible to arrange an interview with an American scientist, an evaluation of the prospective student's academic record by a scientist familiar with the American academic system is desirable.
