Computing Facility Print E-mail
The Department of Neuriscience Computer Facility, which provides the capability for image processing and analysis as well as production of materials for publication and presentation, houses computers with a copy of Simple PCI (the proprietary software used for image collection and analysis for the Nikon confocal) and other software for image processing, deconvolution, and 3D reconstruction. The facility also has as a large-format printer for poster printing, a scanner, a tracing monitor, and printers. In addition to the regular staff for the Computer Facility, the Department employs a professional scientific photographer who handles not only high-level photography tasks, but also serves as a Department expert for graphics/image processing.

Email Delivery Issues
11/2/09 - University Webmail, including IMAP and POP,  is currently experiencing issues which are preventing users from connecting.  We are in the process of trying to isolate the problem, and will resolve it as soon as possible.  We apologize for the inconvenience.
 
July 8th - WebMail Experiencing Service Interruption
At approximately 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8th the UA WebMail server began to experience an unknown technical issue. Users are not able to access their email. Our technical support staff are working to resolve this problem, and we will post updates as they become available. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding.
